Why Do I Need a Fall Tune Up?

Your home comfort systems need maintenance! We recommend you schedule it twice a year, once in spring and once in fall. This is because these seasons come right before the months where the weather will be at its hottest or coldest, meaning your units will be working their hardest. However, these tune ups aren’t just a routine– they’re done for a reason!

So, why do we recommend you schedule your fall tune up now, if you haven’t already? Here’s why you need a fall tune up:

1. Safety – The number one reason for this fall tune up is safety. One of the crucial things we check for during this visit is the sign of any gas leaks. We perform CO2 tests to ensure your furnace is ready to operate safely.

2. Comfortability – You don’t want your home’s heating to fail at the time of year when you need it most. That’s why we like being proactive about finding and resolving issues before winter hits! We know it’s important to keep your home comfortable.

3. Longevity – The best way to keep your comfort systems working as well and as long as possible is through maintenance! We use a 24-Point Inspection to ensure the parts of your unit are all in working order, as well as checking for dirt or necessary repairs.

If you’re looking to set up a maintenance routine for your AC unit and furnace, then let’s start a Maintenance Agreement

Through this program, we’ll take the initiative to call you twice a year to remind you about scheduling your maintenance visit. Not only that, but we’ll change out your AC filter during our visit and you’ll get a discount on any repairs needed.

If you haven’t scheduled your fall tune up yet, it’s not too late! Give us a call and we’ll be happy to come make sure your home is ready for winter.
